Xperia P & U pricing revealed

Written by Fudzilla staff

Coming April 23, with competitive price tags

A British retailer has spilled the beans on Sony’s upcoming Xperia P and Xperia U handsets. Both should ship on April 23 and the pricing seems pretty competitive, too.

The Xperia P features a 4-inch 960x540 screen, 1GHz dual-core, 16GB of storage, all packed in a sleek aluminium unibody case, so it will clearly look and feel like a proper premium product. The asking price is £315, which should translate to about €400 or $425.

Sound like a fair deal, but the tiny Xperia U seems to offer even better value. This little guy comes with a 3.5-inch 854x480 screen, 8GB of storage and dual core 1GHz processor and all this can be yours for just £199, probably about €250+ or $270.

The flagship Xperia S, which we reviewed here, is already on sale for €499, but with a little luck you can grab it for €449, making it the best bang-for-buck high end Android phone on the market.

You can check out the details here.
