Scores big in Quadrant benchmark

According to the latest leak and info that has already surfaced regarding the LG's upcoming flagship P880/X3 smartphone, it looks like the company might have a winner on their hands, especially if these rumoured specs and performance benchmarks turn out to be true. In addition to the Tegra 3 quad-core chip and 720p display, a recent benchmark leak shows that X3 really packs a punch.

Previously rumoured specs that place Tegra 3 under the 4.7-inch 1280x720 display, as well as Android 4.0 ICS OS and two snappers (8MP on the back and 1.3MP front one), Modaco site shed some more details regarding the rest of the specs as well as some screenshots of Quadrant benchmark and software information.

According to the post, LG's X3 Tegra 3 quad-core CPU will be clocked at 1.4GHz when running on two or four cores and at 1.5GHz in single-core mode. The LG X3 should end up with a 2000mAh battery, 16GB of internal storage backed by microSD slot and Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3 OS. The more interesting is the actual screenshot of the Quadrant benchmark that shows an impressive score of 4412.

Of course, MWC 2012 is just around the corner and we are quite sure that we'll hear more about this one. You can check out the screenshots here.
