Boffins develop 3D formation capability for quadrotors

Great for evil villains in hollowed out volcanoes

We stumbled upon an interesting video showing that boffins from the University of Pennsylvania’s GRASP Labs have not wasted time in perfecting what they call nano quadrotors. The devices are basically chopper-like devices that boast enviable handling in the air.

Namely, the boffins developed the quadrotors to the point where they can hold formations. And when we say formations we’re not only talking about holding some measly shape but actual 3D formations.
