QuakeCon 2012 date confirmed

Written by David Stellmack

Will Doom 4 be shown at the event?

Start making your plans now, as id Software has confirmed the dates for QuakeCon 2012. One of largest and longest running LAN parties will be held this year in Dallas, Texas, from August 2nd through the 5th at the Hilton Anatole.

While more specific details are available on the QuakeCon web site, the bigger question might be whether id Software will be taking the wraps off of Doom 4 at this year’s event. Although id announced that it was working on Doom 4 last year, the title was a no-show at the 2011 event.
