PQI flash drive gets Red Dot design award

PQI Intelligent Drive i810

PQI's little flash drive, branded Intelligent Drive i810, has won the Red Dot award. We wrote about this little thing a while back and even then it looked great, so this award doesn't surprise us.

This little drive weighs only 2.2 grams and has dimensions of 30x15.2x5mm. The great thing is that it is dust, water, shock and vibration resistant. It is available form 512MB up to 2GB in capacity. This little flash drive is a plain fashion accessory and it comes with a mobile phone dongle.

In addition to the Red Dot award for its i810, PQI has launched yet another small flash drive branded Intelligent Drive i820 that comes with a miniature leather pouch. We like the idea of a small USB flash drive, but that leather pouch isn't something that can easily blend in as a fashion accessory; but again, we are not fashion gurus.
