Bon Jovi is not dead

Written by Nick Farell

Blog site got it wrong

Popular beat combo-artist Bon Jovi has had to provide photographic proof that he is alive and well after a website called "dailynewbloginternational" had reported that Bon Jovi died in New Jersey during a world tour.

The site lifted sentences from its story on the death of Michael Jackson but claimed it was not involved in the false report. We guess that it reasoned that it since all news stories come true eventually it would be appropriate for the 49 year old rock star to have died. After all a large number of good rock stars have died young and those that are still on the stage in their 90s look a bit daft.

Bon Jovi took the bogus news in his stride and published on Facebook and Twitter a photograph of himself in front of his Christmas tree. In the picture he is holding a sign that says "Heaven looks a lot like New Jersey – Dec. 19th 2011 6:00". We take this to mean that he is still living on a prayer but at least still alive. Unlike Kim Jong Il who is not ill but pushing up the daisies.

Also unlike Kim, if Jon Bon Jovi snuffed it, then a few people would be upset and the cries of sorrow on the street would be genuine rather than out of fear.
