Samsung to bundle Batman with SSD

Written by David Stellmack

All 830 series drives to come with Arkham City

In a promotion that we didn’t see coming, Samsung has announced that all of the SSD drives in their new 830 series will come bundled with the PC version of Batman: Arkham City for the PC. The promotion will apparently start next month and run for a limited time.

While we found the promotion idea a bit strange, we guess that it isn’t when you consider that a good many gamers buy these drives for their gaming systems. The drives in the 830 series will be offered in four sizes, which include a 512GB, 256GB, 128GB and 64GB versions. Each of the drives will come with a download code for the game.

The drives will start to ship this week, but the game will not apparently be ready for download till next month, as we told you previously.
