Bonuses confirmed for Halo Anniversary

Written by David Stellmack

Not as exciting as might have been expected
343 Industries has now officially confirmed the pre-order bonuses if you choose to pre-order the Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary edition. They are not actually that thrilling for a bonus.

Those that pre-order will get the special Master Chief’s armor for your Xbox Live Avatar. Also, pre-orderers will get an in-game “Grunt Funeral” modification skull that causes all grunts to explode like plasma grenades upon your death.

Considering that this will be the only Halo release this year and it is a re-make of the first Halo, we are not sure what we expected 343 and Microsoft to offer as a pre-order bonus; but frankly, we thought it would have to be better than this. While this is better than nothing, we are not sure that it is something that is going to make folks run right out and pre-order the title.
