GTA V announcement expected this summer

Written by David Stellmack

Development continues for expected 2012 release
In a discussion with industry sources, we were told (despite being disappointed by Rockstar’s failure to announce Grand Theft Auto V) that development continues. The same source tells us that Rockstar is on track for a 2012 release, and he believes that the title will arrive on dealer shelves in the fall of 2012.

Very little is known about the fifth release in the GTA series, but rumors continue to suggest that the game is massive in scale, making it the largest sandbox environment ever. A number of rumors concerning the setting of the game continue, but most of the whispers we hear seem to favor a West Coast setting.
