Violated Internet Controls

A popular
pro-democracy party Blogger has been arrested in Myanmar for working his way around the country's tight Internet controls.

According to Associated Press, Nay Phone Latt and another man were arrested on Tuesday. It is not clear exactly why, but pro-democracy supporters were certain it was because of his knowledge and experience with computers.

Nay Phone Latt's blog is written like a novel. It was used as a forum to discuss the difficulties of daily life, such as the power outages that last most of the day and the rising cost of living.
