Kinect becomes sex aid

Written by Nick Farell

Only took a couple of months
After only two months the adult gaming community has dreamed a software which uses Kinect's wireless controller as a sex aid.

A demo for the NSFW ThriXXX software has been posted on YouTube. The software is possible thanks to the the open-sourcing of device drivers for Kinect have enabled the device to be used directly from connected PCs operating on Windows 7.

According to ThriXXX, the Kinect interface provides another exciting interface option for users of the sex simulation software to control the experience in extraordinary new ways. Kinnect allows the use of gestures, spoken commands, or objects to control in-game action that creates a completely new sex game activity and “magical experience."

In the interests of research we had a look. While it is possible to see how Kinect is suitable for fairly well controlled hand gestures and that those gestures can be incorporated into a sex game, however it is about as erotic as an EU leaflet on footrot.

Still it is a start we guess.
