Microsoft is in the holiday spirit
With many Xbox 360 users buying Kinect this holiday season, Microsoft has gotten into the holiday spirit by adding some free downloadable content for Kinect owners to enjoy. If you happen to own Kinect Sports, you can download the new Party Pack now. If you own Joy Ride, you will have to wait till January 4th to download the new Chevrolet Car Pack.

The Party Pack for Kinect Sports adds a new Challenge feature that allows you to track your friends’ scores. In addition, the Party Pack adds six new mini-games called Super Striker, Pinvaders, Rapid Runner, Target Smash, Fruit Splatter, and King of the Ring. The DLC also adds three new multiplayer Party Play modes and three new mascots to enjoy.

The Chevrolet Car Pack for Joy Ride is pretty much what it sounds like. The DLC which will arrive on January 4th adds the Camaro, Corvette, and Cruze to your Joy Ride car collection.

Sources tell us that you never know what Microsoft might be planning for additional free content over the holidays. From the whispers that we are hearing, the free content was sponsored in part by Samsung and Chevrolet advertising deals.
