AMD powered ultra-portable
For those who have had enough of Intel's domination of the ultra-portable market, Asus is releasing an AMD based version of its Eee PC. The beast will have a 12.1-inch screen and it has been seen on a German site available for pre-order with a price tag of €445.

The 1215T uses a 1.7 GHz Athlon II Neo K125 processor, 2GB of DDR3 memory, Radeon HD 4225 integrated graphics, a 250GB hard drive, Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, and a HDMI output. It will have Windows 7 Home Premium pre-installed.

Asus have been pushing the envelope on their eee PC range porting it to Android, and Linux.
