HP's Pavilion dm1z shows up on sale

US $449.99 for HP's AMD Nile


HP has silently listed its vision of AMD's Nile platform, the 11.6-inch Pavilion dm1z. Featuring AMD's Athlon II Neo and Turion II Neo CPUs paired up with Mobility Radeon HD 4225 integrated graphics, the Pavilion dm1z is listed at HP's site with a base price of US $449.99.

The new Pavilion dm1z features 11.6-inch HD LED BrightView 1366x768 screen and has a 92 percent full-size keyboard. The full list of CPUs include Athlon II Neo K125 clocked at 1.7GHz, Athlon II Neo dual core K325 and Turion II Neo K625 clocked at 1.5GHz. All of the CPUs are paired up with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4225 graphics, up to 5GB of memory, and up to 500GB of HDD storage or 128GB SSD.

The rest of the specs include 802.11bgn WiFi, integrated webcam with digital microphone, Altec Lansing speakers, 10/100 LAN, three USB ports, D-Sub and HDMI outputs and comes with either Windows 7 Home Premium or Windows 7 Professional 64-bit OS, depending on your choice.
