Dead Rising 2 confirm delayed

Written by David Stellmack

Will now be targeted for end of September
Capcom is now officially confirming that Dead Rising 2 will not arrive as originally scheduled on August 31st in North America and September 3rd in Europe. Instead, the title is being pushed back till September 28th in North America and October 1st in Europe.

No additional details have been released as to the reason for the delay. Whispers from the shadows suggest that it might be nothing more than a tactical marketing decision; but we believe there is likely more to it than that.
