MSI's U160 pixellized in details

Ready for CES 2010

We managed to score a bunch of pictures of the upcoming Pinetrail based MSI Wind U160 Gold netbook. We already wrote about it yesterday, and as far as the specs go, it is still going to be the same Pineview N450 CPU. However, MSI put a lot of effort into the actual design of this device and it looks like they hit a jackpot.

The new Wind U160 looks way better than the Wind U135 and, more importantly, should have a much longer battery life. MSI is keeping the details under tight wraps, as it probably wants to surprise a lot of people at CES 2010.

The rumoured price starts at US $350, but the rest of the details as well as the number of SKUs that we will see are probably going to remain undisclosed until CES 2010. All we have to do is wait and see if the actual product is as good as these pictures.
