Nokia to launch smartbook next year

According to Digitimes, Nokia will launch an ARM-based smartbook in mid-2010.

Compal or Foxconn will produce the new toy, but details are sketchy at the moment. This is not the first time we've heard of Nokia' smartbook plans, but after it announced its Atom-based Booklet 3G netbook, the rumours sound a bit more plausible.

Nokia is also planning to expand its Ovi services to include the new netbooks.
