Microsoft has announced that Canadians will get a special Xbox 360 Elite Halo bundle that will be available for only a limited time this holiday season. This is bundle will only be available to those in Canada; and our sources tell us that it is very unlikely that we will see this Halo bundle appear in any other region, unless it is wildly successful.

As for what is included, the Canadian Halo bundle, as some are calling it, contains the standard black Xbox 360 Elite, with two black wireless controllers, 120GB hard drive, and copies of both Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST. Our sources tell us that as with all of the other recent Xbox 360 releases, it will not include an HD cable or HDMI cable, but instead just the standard composite video cable.

According to the intel from our sources, it should be showing up on Canadian retailer shelves starting today, for a price of $400 CAD. Beyond the included Halo 3 titles, the only other interesting note is that the bundle comes with two black wireless controllers, rather than just one. It is unlikely that including two controllers, rather than just one, will be a future trend for Microsoft.
