It seems that the very elusive rumor mill claims that the Capcom announcement (when it finally comes) will include the news that Super Street Fighter IV is in development. Sources continue to hint that official word from Capcom is still coming, but just not yet.

From what our sources tell us, the new Super Street Fighter IV will be an update to Street Fighter IV that includes some additional characters to play. Sources claim that the new offerings will include T. Hawk from the Street Fighter II game and Juri, who does not seem to be related to the character who went by the same name in Street Fighter Alpha.

While screen shots have been circulating, it is unknown how legitimate they might be, but it would appear that they are, in fact, real. What still is unknown is if it will be an add-on pack to the existing Street Fighter IV, or in fact a brand new title that will be purchased at retail. Word from the underground is that it will be a brand new title that you can buy at retail and it will not arrive until at least mid next year, with Q3 release more likely according to the latest buzz.
