Premium 360 theme at no charge

If you thought that Bethesda was really milking Fallout 3 with the five releases of downloadable expansion content for the game, you are not alone.

So, instead of releasing something else you will have to buy, the company instead is giving back to the Xbox 360 community by giving each of the fans that purchased all five add-on packs a free Fallout 3 Premium Xbox 360 theme for their console. It is expected that the Fallout 3 Premium theme will arrive October 1st for download for those eligible.

From what we hear it is Bethesda’s way of saying “thank you” to all of the fans that supported them even when they had problems with some of the downloadable add-on packs and missed release dates. While premium themes normally cost about $3 or 240 Microsoft Points, the gesture is good and something that other companies could learn from.

If you have already purchased all five of the add-on packs for Fallout 3, you are all set to go and you will be able to download it for free on October 1st. For those that still don’t have all of them, you have until September 22nd to buy the rest of them; or you will be stuck paying 240 points for it if you want it.
