Bright Lights! Big Screen! to arrive for PS3 & Wii

The Scene It? movie trivia franchise will no longer be a console exclusive for Xbox 360 owners; franchise owner Screenlife announced that the latest installment, which will be called Bright Lights! Big Screen!, will for the first time arrive on the PlayStation 3 and Wii, as well as the Xbox 360.

The first version of the Scene It? franchise arrived for the Xbox 360 back in 2007, with its unique controllers and addictive game play for movie buffs. The first release was highly criticized, however, for the lack of Xbox Live support for both multiplayer play over Xbox Live and the lack of additional downloadable content.

The game returned on the Xbox 360 last year with the Scene It? Box Office Smash that corrected the flaws of the first release by adding both Xbox Live support, as well as download content for purchase. Perhaps, however, the biggest reason that the sequel did so much better the second time around was the avatar support, as this was one of the first titles after the dashboard update that offered actual player avatar support from within the game title itself.

Bright Lights! Big Screen! is said to promise thousands more questions with a simplified interface. It also will include a variety of new game modes. It will arrive for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii on November 17th and will be distributed by Warner Home Video Games.
