Title to come to North America, thanks to UFO

UFO Interactive, who recently announced that it would be bringing the popular Raiden to North American Xbox 360 players with the release of Raiden IV, has now released an announcement that a Limited Edition version of Raiden IV will also be available.

The Raiden IV Limited Edition version will only be released for this top down shooter by pre-ordering it from GameStop. The Limited Edition version will not include the same sort of far out trinkets, but instead will add a copy of the exclusive soundtrack for the game itself. The soundtrack will be included within the Limited Edition packaging, which will also include a digital artbook that can be downloaded. The soundtrack will be titled “Ultimate Raiden,” as you might imagine.

The artbook, which is being called “secret file,” will contain concept art, game strategies, and, of course, valuable boss and enemy data that hardcore Raiden fans will find invaluable. The game is still scheduled to arrive on September 8th in both the standard and limited edition versions. However, from what our sources tell us, don’t expect to get your hands on a limited edition copy of Raiden IV unless you pre-order it from your local GameStop store.

Raiden series of games has grown quite a following over the years, especially in Japan where it continues to be known as one of the premier top down shooters. This is the second Raiden title to find its way to the Xbox 360, with the first title being Raiden Fighter Aces, which was a compilation that included Raiden Fighters, Raiden Fighters 2: Operation Hell Dive, and Raiden Fighter Jet which was released earlier this year.
