According to the latest words that are trickling out from the Xbox Live empire, expect the next Xbox 360 update to be released later this year to offer a major speed improvement to the Xbox 360 dashboard.

Since the New Xbox Experience was launched, a sizeable number of users have complained that the new graphics added to the dashboard have slowed down quick navigation of the new dashboard. Microsoft apparently has been listening and is working on this very thing.

The new dashboard revision that will arrive with the next major update is expected to add some new features, as well. While we have not gotten a list of what will be included in the next series dashboard enhancements, our sources tell us that the final set of feature requirements is going to be closing soon and we should know exactly what to expect soon.
