Contest winner will finally be released

So you have been hearing about the XBLA Arcade contest winning game called The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai, which was developed by James Silva when the contest was run. It seems that the game is finally all polished and ready to be available for download starting Wednesday.

The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai is a very interesting title that can be best described as a 2D action speed title with a unique flair that provides a new look at game play. The title offers a single player game as well as an arcade style two-player co-op version that allows for drop-in play. The game supports the use of the guitar for the Xbox 360 in some modes of the game.

Downloadable for 800 Microsoft Points, the game could be on the road to being one of the best and most unique user developed titles yet. With the title’s strange name and blood-soaked environment, it looks to have the potential to be one of the most talked about titles released this year.
