A video that was shot on what looks to be a cell phone appeared on You Tube that shows what is being described as an Alpha build of Star Wars: Battlefront III. This now at least confirms that the title was pretty far along in development at Free Radical Entertainment before doors closed.

The video is said to have been shot during an internal showing for employees of an alpha build of the game. The leaked footage does look pretty good, but it is unknown which platform the game is running on or how much of the footage was actually canned.

According to various reports, which have been confirmed by some of our sources, the game has now been moved over to Rebellion who did the Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron for the PSP. As is always the case, however, Lucas Arts will not comment on an announced project, but insiders tell us that you can expect to hear more details during the E3 time frame later this year.
