Halo Wars release date announced

Microsoft announced that Halo Wars is scheduled for Feburary launch, and will come in two flavors – Standard and Limited Collector’s Edition.

The Limited Collector’s Edition will feature numerous goodies, such as access to Mythic Map Pack for Halo 3, Halo Wars: Genesis comic book that explains why the Covenant is so keen on the world of Harvest, unique in-game “Honor Guard” Wraith vehicle, trading cards and a Spirit of Fire patch that will let you start the game as a member of SOF crew.

Those who pre-order the standard version will get access to a special in-game Warthog that has a flame design on the hood.
