WD has 250 GB notebook drive

Western digital just announced a new 250 GB Scorpio 2.5 hard drive and this small baby includes perpendicular magnetic recording technology.

WD claims that the drive is the quietest, coolest and consumes very little power. The new SATA 2.5 inch mobile hard drive is available in sizes from 40 to 250 GB and it rotates at 5400 RPM.

The suggested retail price for the 250 GB version is
$199.99 USD and the drive is available now at the companies web site, just try to find the model number WD2500BEVS.
