Midway offers tin full of extras

Yesterday we revealed that PS3 Unreal Tournament 3 players will not be able to play their PC counterparts, but today word has reached us that Midway has announced that in addition to the regular release of UT3 for the PC, fans will also have the choice to pick up the “Unreal Tournament 3 Limited Edition.”

The UT3 LE version will come packaged in a collector’s tin and will contain an art book that will offer a glimpse into the art work developed for the game including characters, environments, weapons and vehicles. The UT3 LE edition will feature a DVD that will include a variety of videos that will offer modification tutorials and a complete history of the Unreal franchise. Of course, the DVD will include a feature on the behind-the-scenes making of Unreal Tournament 3.

The Limited Edition version of Unreal Tournament 3 will retail for US$59.95 and should be available for pre-order at your local PC gaming retailer starting today.
