Phenom FX and X4 line-up unveiled

2.2 to 2.8GHz FX and AM2+


We managed to get hold of the complete line-up of the upcoming AMD K10 desktop parts. Agena and Agena FX will be launched at 2.2 to 2.8GHz speeds.

In 2007 AMD plans to have only one Phenom FX and it will be clocked at 2.8GHz, with a faster model in 2008.

The Agena will launch in a few iterations and it will be known as Phenom X4 9xxx. The slowest one works at 2.2GHz, the mid-range one is a 2.4GHz processor and the top of the range model will tick at 2.6GHz. Again, faster processors are planned for 2008.

The most interesting part here is that a solid pricing plan doesn't exist as yet, as AMD is still usure about the market place for these CPUs in relation to Intel's upcoming processors.
