We learned that Barcelona, Opteron 2200
series at its launch 1.9 GHz will have the TDP of 95W. We are talking about the
B1 stepping version that will be the first to launch.
There will be a second iteration of
Barcelona stepping known as B2 (ba) stepping and this one is suppose to have
the lower voltage and will be able to hit the higher speeds.
K10 B2 (ba) stepping is the one that can go
over 3GHz and we hope that we can see it this year.
