A server company boldly claims

An American server renting company has announce that Barcelona Quad core based servers comes in July 2007.

We are not sure is the information up to date but the company has all the names and the specs up on its site. It will offer Opteron 2258, Opteron 2260, Opteron 2262, Opteron 2264, Opteron 2266 and Opteron 2268.

If this turns to be true, which we really doubt the cheapest Barcelona server will be available for rent for $259 a month for a 2 GB machine, which is not too bad.

Barcelona K10 comes in late Q3 in best case scenario while the real availability is expected in early Q4.

You can check the specs here.
