Both GDDR3 and GDDR5

At least one Nvidia partner, whose name we can't disclose for obvious reasons, will have a Geforce GT 240 card with GDDR5 memory. Some partners will start selling GDDR3 versions first and launch a GDDR5 version a bit later.

For now, we know that at least one partner will have that version of the card and according to what we have heard so far, the GT 240 will have the same treatment as the GT 220, so you can expect non-reference cards with custom cooling solutions.

The card might come before November 17th as some retailers/e-tailers might start selling it as of next week, but that has yet to be confirmed, as Nvidia either pulled back the NDA date, or partners are simply too eager and want that card on the market as soon as possible.
