The new
real Bloomfield, the original Nehalem will go live on October 18th. The new CPU is branded as Core i7 960 and it works at 3.2GHz and naturally supports Turbo overclocking that will get it even faster.

The new CPU will sit on top of Core i7 950 clocked at 3.06GHz but both CPUs have the same specification including 8MB Cache, LGA1366 support and four cores and eight threads.

The Core i7 960 at launch will sell for $562 and it should be available in stores on October 18th. The top Bloomfield remains Core i7 975 at 3.33GHz and will continue to sell for $999 until Gulftown comes in Q2 2010.
