Mainstream all the way

Putting its flash experience to use, OCZ has announced a new "ultra-affordable" Zee flash drive.

In order to play its role in the mainstream market, the new USB flash drive will feature 20MB/s and 10MB/s read and write speeds. It will be available in 2, 4, 8, and 16GB capacities and, according to Alex Mei, CMO of OCZ Technology Group, it is designed for the consumer on the go with its compact and economical attributes.

The Zee will be backed by a two-year warranty and should start to appear in retail/e-tail in next few weeks.
