Multimedia in mind

When we asked Nvidia if they though that Apple might be developing its own chip, the boss of Nvidia completely agreed with us. He said that Apple is "absolutely" making its own chip.

Bob Drebin, Former AMDs CTO and Raja Koduri Former ATI’s CTO are most likely involved in chip development and Nvidia believes that Apple is making some sort of multimedia chip.

Both we and Nvidia believe that Apple might be making a chip that should fit in multimedia internet device, maybe even iPods and iPhones of the future where multimedia content performance and low power should be the biggest guideline.

People close to AMD and Intel believe that Apple still lacks a lot of engineers and that it takes a while to make a chip. Don’t expect that an Apple in-house chip might show its face anytime soon, as it takes minimum or two years of hard work, but there is still a chance that Apple started development a while ago.
