AMD plans
to expand its 45nm dual core generation with Business class processors. They are the part of overall change old 65nm business platform to a new Kodiak 45 nm one.

The fastest one is branded Athlon X2 B24, and it runs at 3.0GHz. Business people like nice, round numbers, to keep things simple and easy to understand, but their tech guys will be the ones buying such machines from big OEMs anyway.

AMD will launch Athlon X2 B24 in Q3 time and this CPU operates with 65W TDP and it is based on 45nm dual, Regor core.

The CPU should be fast enough for most users and it comes with total 2MB of cache. Big guys such as Dell, Acer, HP should be introducing these CPUs in their platforms.
