Caviar Black with 64MB of cache


According
to reports from Japan, Western Digital is preparing to launch a new high performance 2TB drive.

Based on the previously announced WD2002FYPS, the new CaviarBlack drive will feature 64MB of cache memory and two processors.

Details are still quite sketchy, but the drives should show up in retail over the next few weeks at prices over $300.
