The company announced a Atom x5 Z8500 Cherry trail based product that works up to 2.24GHz. The T100HA tablet with a detachable notebook comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Transformer Book Flip TP200SA can turn its head by 360 degrees but it won't detach. This is exactly what the Lenovo Yoga is doing. This new tablet/ notebook, or 2in1 will have an Intel Pentium Quad-Core N3700 or Intel Celeron Dual-Core N3050 Processor, 4GB DDR3L 1600 MHz RAM and a selection of 32GB eMMC, 64GB eMMC or 128GB SSD. It is an 11. 6 inch IPS screen with quite small 1366x768 resolution.
This tablet comes with Windows 10 64bit edition, one USB 3.0 type-C, one USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 type A, Combo audio jack and micro HDMI. The new Book Flip comes with 802.11n Wlan, Bluetooth 4.1, 2in1 card reader that supports microSD or SDXC and it has a VGA megapixel camera. It weighs 1.2KG, measures 297 x 201.3 x 18.45 mm (WxDxH) and we saw the listing with €350 price tag, and shipping date for the next few days. The ASUS Transformer Book T100HA will sell for $299 while the Transformer Book Flip TP200SA will sell for a $349. This sounds like a decent deal for nice looking 2in1 notebooks/ tablets/ convertables.
The new Book Flip looks like a thin Mac Book Air and we do know that Asus always looked to Apple for its notebook and worldwide success.
