According to the Financial Times, a study by GfK, a respected research company based in Germany, the Wii is still outperforming Sony's PS3 and Vole's XboX 360 in all markets.
The report claims that the Wii has even outsold the XboX 360, which had been on the market for almost two years, while Nintendo's white knight is less than a year old.
Nintendo has sold 9 million Wii consoles in just the past 10 months, while the XboX 360 found its way into 8.9 million homes. On the other hand, Sony managed to sell around 5 million Playstation 3 units worldwide.
The Wii has also managed to beat the XboX 360 on home ground, selling more units per month in the States, but the XboX 360 still leads in overall figures. In Japan, the Wii beats the XboX 360 overwhelmingly.
