A bloke trying to flog a money making idea on Twitter has told hacks
he is targetting it at those people with more money than sense. Insulting
potential clients is not usually the sort of marketing technique that wins
friends and influences people, however true it may be.
Super Rewards
co-founder Jason Bailey has written a new role-playing game on Twitter
called 140 Mafia using Super Rewards, a "virtual currency"
service. Bailey said that the game has taken off and he is already making
more money from Twitter than Twitter is itself.
Talking to
AP he said that some game players have forked over thousands of
dollars. "It's all about ego and status for them," he said. "Clearly, some
people have more money than brains."
