Shuttle has a new Atom based all-in-one, and it's a looker. But, looks aren't the only thing it has going for it.
Unlike Atom N270 powered Asus and MSI all-in-ones, the Shuttle X50XA is
based on a Diamondville dual-core Atom 330 at 1.6GHz. It has 1GB of
memory, 160GB of storage, a 1366x768 LED backlit 15.6-inch touchscreen
and measures a modest 391.3x327x36m.
N-draft wireless is also on board, as well as LAN, 5 USBs and VGA out.
Not bad at all, especially as you can stick another SO-DIMM in it for 2GB
of RAM, which should let it cope with Vista much better. The list price with no OS is €447, while the version with preinstalled Vista Home Premium costs over €500. You can find the
listings
here.
It should appear in retail in early May, although we don't have any exact dates.
