The BBC has stumbled upon a rather embarrassing Home Office website
gaffe. One of links on the Office for Security and Counter Terrorism
was linking to a Japanese porn site.
It was supposed to link to the Technical Advisory Board, but it seems a
webmaster was working and browsing Japanese porn at the same time, and
hence copy pasted the wrong link.
Interestingly the link was discovered when a bloke was trying to find
out more about new ISP privacy regulations which come into effect
today. Apparently the Home Office could do with a bit more privacy
itself.
The BBC alerted the Home Office which took down the link, saying it would investigate the matter.
