Apple apparently subpoenaed Valve Software in November 2020, demanding it provide huge amounts of commercial data about Steam sales and operations going over multiple years.

Only minimum requirements for now

Valve has now revealed its VR-only Half-Life: Alyx, a prequel to Half-Life 2 and developed on Valve's Source 2 engine, and today, we see its first system requirements, at least the minimum ones.

A prequel to Half-Life 2

As expected, Valve has now officially announced Half-Life: Alyx, a VR-only game that is a prequel to Half-Life 2.

Starting with Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order

After a brief tease earlier, Electronic Arts has now confirmed it will be coming back to Valve's Steam, starting off on November 15th with Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. Surprisingly, the publisher has also confirmed that EA Access/Origin Access will be coming to Steam next spring.

But you still might need an Origin account

Electronic Arts has released a rather interesting "steaming" teaser on its Twitter account, which suggests that the earlier rumors of EA coming back to Valve's Steam might just be true.

Valve Index teased 

Valve has moved ahead with plans to launch its own VR headset, called the Valve Index, in May 2019.

To be available on iOS and Android

Valve is seriously expanding into the mobile market by announcing two new apps, the Steam Link and Steam Video, that will bring both game streaming to iOS and Android devices as well as let you check out the Steam library of movies and videos on your mobile device.

VR headset developer Valve has said that it does not really matter if its VR tech turns out to be a complete failure.
