Nvidia appears to be just days away from unveiling its long-rumored N1 and N1X laptop processors, with a coordinated teaser campaign involving Nvidia, Microsoft, Arm, and several hardware partners ahead of Computex 2026.
The companies have been sharing social media posts featuring the slogan “A new era of PC” along with references to Taipei, where Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is scheduled to deliver his Computex keynote. The coordinated messaging strongly suggests that Nvidia’s first Arm-based PC processors will finally make their official debut at the event.
While Nvidia has yet to reveal any specifications, rumors suggest the N1 and N1X chips will combine Arm CPU cores with Nvidia Blackwell graphics technology. The flagship N1X is expected to target premium laptops and AI-focused systems, giving Nvidia a direct entry into a market currently dominated by Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, and Apple.
Several major laptop makers are already teasing upcoming devices. ASUS has hinted at a new ProArt notebook powered by Nvidia technology, while Lenovo and Dell are also rumored to be preparing systems based on the new platform. Microsoft is expected to be one of the key partners, with speculation pointing to future Surface devices powered by Nvidia’s Arm processors.
The close involvement of Microsoft has fueled expectations that the N1 and N1X will become an important part of the Windows on Arm ecosystem. Until now, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X series has largely dominated that segment, but Nvidia’s arrival could bring stronger graphics performance and additional competition.
For Nvidia, the launch would represent a major expansion beyond its traditional GPU business. By combining its AI expertise, graphics technology, and Arm-based CPU design, the company is looking to establish itself as a serious player in the next generation of AI-powered laptops.
With Computex 2026 just around the corner, all signs point to Nvidia finally revealing what it has been working on for the past several years. If expectations are met, the N1 and N1X could become one of the most significant laptop launches of the year.
