It appears that AMD AGESA 1002a BIOS update has started to show up for some motherboards and that it fixes power management problems seen with the Ryzen 3 2200G and Ryzen 5 2400G APUs, providing both better performance and smoother gameplay - in some games.

In the aftermath of Raven Ridge delidding, which revealed that it uses thermal paste under the IHS, AMD's Robert Hallock took to Reddit to note that this won't be the case with the upcoming Pinnacle Ridge CPUs, based on 12nm manufacturing process and usually known as the Ryzen + CPUs.
