G.Skill releases its new DDR4 kits for Intel Z590 platform

by on31 March 2021

High speed DDR4 kits ranging from DDR4-4600 to DDR4-5333

G.Skill has released a series of new high speed DDR4 kits aimed to be used on Intel's new Z590 platform. These kits will be a part of G.Skill's Trident Z Royal, Trident Z RGB, and Ripjaws V series and reach speeds of up to DDR4-5333.

The cream of the crop is obviously the DDR4-5333 kit, which is a 16GB (8GBx2) kit working 5333MHz frequency with 22-32-32-52 latency at 1.6V. The same kit was validated on Intel's Z590 platform and ASUS ROG STRIX Z590-E GAMING WIFI, ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XIII APEX, and MSI MEG Z590I UNIFY motherboards with Intel's Core i9-11900K processor.

Those looking at tighter latency will be pleased to know that G.Skill is pushing out a DDR4-4800 16GB (8GBx2) kit that uses Samsung B-die ICs and feature tighter 17-19-19-39 latency at 1.6V. The same frequency kits will be available in CL19 16GB 1.5V and CL20 32GB 1.55V options.

G.Skill is also launching a couple of high capacity kits, 32GB and 64GB. The 32GB (16GBx2) kit works at DDR4-5066 frequency with 20-30-30-50 latency at 1.6V. The same kit will also be available in a 16GB option.

The 64GB (32GBx2) kit hits DDR4-4600 frequency but still retails tighter 20-30-30-50 latency at 1.5V.

According to G.Skill, these high speed, tight latency, and high capacity kits should be available soon, Q2 2021. You can check out the full lineup in the table below. Unfortunately, there is no word on the price but hopefully, we will see them in retail/e-tail soon.
