Priced at $220

According to the latest rumor, AMD could launch the non-X Ryzen 5 5600 CPU in early 2021, with a rather affordable $220 price tag.

With the first batch of Ryzen 5000 series desktop CPUs scheduled to hit retail/e-tail shelves on November 5th, the first rumors about the rest of the lineup have started to appear online, including the more affordable Ryzen 5 5600 (non-X) which should be coming in early 2021.

In case you missed it, AMD has announced a total of four SKUs in the new Ryzen 5000 series lineup, mostly covering the high- and mid-range market segments with the new Ryzen 9 5950X flagship, Ryzen 9 5900X, Ryzen 7 5800X, and the Ryzen 5 5600X.

There are several gaps in the lineup, including an SKU that will fit between the Ryzen 5 5600X and the Ryzen 7 5800X, as well as SKUs that will be below the Ryzen 5 5600X.

According to a post from Twitter user @harukaze5719, caught by Videocardz.com, the first non-X Ryzen 5000 series SKU, the Ryzen 5 5600, could launch in early 2021, and be priced at $220.

AMD has already announced that it plans to bring support for Ryzen 5000 series on 400-series motherboards in January 2021, which lines up with the rumored launch date for the rest of the lineup.

It is also possible that we will see more than one SKU in early 2021, with possible Ryzen 7 5700X (and non-X) launching in the same timeframe.

Hopefully, we'll see more info as we draw closer to the end of the year.
