Geforce GTX 465 sells for €264

Gainward card

One week after the launch, Nvidia's Geforce GTX 465 got a more realistic price. Gainward GeForce GTX 465, 1024MB GDDR5, 2x DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort, PCIe 2.0 (1084) card is currently available on German market for €264. Naturally, this is the price for purchasing the card in one a German shop and it will cost you some 5 to 10 euro more if you want and/or need them shipped to you. You can check it out here.

Radeon HD 5850 in its cheapest iteration costs some €280 on average but you can even find it for €238 in case the UK shop choses to ship the card off the proud British Isles. All in all, Radeon HD 5850 costs a bit more but both of them are available from more than one partner.

We are not sure how well the Geforce GTX 465 is selling, as we have heard that it doesn’t move that fast, but still its a triumph for Nvidia to have these cards on the market after all. The new GF104 chip and the card possibly branded Geforce GTX 460 are still in plans and should be coming later this summer.
