And Celerons

Today Intel offers virtualization VT-X support with its top four SKUs including two Core i7 Extremes and normal one, Core 2 Quad and Core 2 Duo.

In the second half of 2009, Intel plans to expand its virtualization support for PC platform and it plans to include a few cheaper CPUs. Essential series will get on the VT-X support list and this should work on essential Core 2 Duo parts, dual-core Pentium CPUs and dual-core Celerons.

This virtualization DT and support for new CPUs will ne introduced in the second half of 2009, but we don´t have much more details than that.
