Kodi releases streaming box

Partnering with FLIRC

Kodi (formerly called XBMC) is releasing a streaming box of its own although when we say "a box" we mean just a box.

The outfit is collaborating with FLIRC to produce an official Kodi-branded Raspberry Pi case, but you'll still have to buy the Raspberry Pi board separately.

The box is made from aluminium casing works as a passive CPU heatsink, allowing you to over overclock your Pi. The case supports all models of Raspberry Pi, but a Raspberry Pi 3 will not allow you to run an LED light and the bottom cover will have to come off to access the SD card slot.

The case is only being released as a limited edition and you can pick it up for 16 pounds here.
